Welcome to DHC Cleaning Services. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our website and cleaning services. By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking, scheduling, or using any of DHC Cleaning Services' professional cleaning services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use our services.
2. Services Provided
DHC Cleaning Services provides professional residential and commercial cleaning services in Southeastern Pennsylvania, including but not limited to:
- Regular cleaning (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly)
- Deep cleaning services
- Move-in and move-out cleaning
- Post-construction cleaning
- Office and commercial cleaning
All services are subject to availability and may vary based on location, property size, and specific requirements.
3. Booking and Scheduling
3.1 Service Requests
Service requests can be made through our website, phone, or email. All bookings are subject to confirmation by DHC Cleaning Services.
3.2 Scheduling
We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred date and time. However, scheduling is subject to availability and may require flexibility.
3.3 Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule a cleaning appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice. Rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a rescheduling fee.
3.4 Cancellations
Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled service time. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the service cost.
4. Pricing and Payment
4.1 Quotes and Estimates
All quotes and estimates provided are based on the information you provide about your property and cleaning needs. Final pricing may be adjusted if the actual conditions differ significantly from the information provided.
4.2 Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash, credit cards, debit cards, and electronic payments.
4.3 Late Payments
Accounts not paid within 30 days of the invoice date may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month or the maximum rate permitted by law, whichever is less.
4.4 Price Changes
We reserve the right to modify our pricing at any time. For recurring services, we will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price changes.
5. Client Responsibilities
5.1 Property Access
You are responsible for providing access to your property at the scheduled service time. This may include providing keys, access codes, or being present to grant entry.
5.2 Property Preparation
You agree to:
- Remove clutter and personal items from surfaces to be cleaned
- Secure or remove valuable, fragile, or irreplaceable items
- Ensure pets are secured in a safe area away from cleaning staff
- Provide access to necessary utilities (water, electricity)
- Inform us of any special conditions, hazards, or concerns
5.3 Safety and Hazards
You must inform us of any known hazards, including but not limited to mold, asbestos, lead paint, pest infestations, or structural issues. We reserve the right to refuse service if we determine conditions are unsafe for our staff.
6. Service Standards and Guarantees
6.1 Quality Commitment
We are committed to providing high-quality cleaning services. If you are not satisfied with our service, please contact us within 24 hours of service completion, and we will make reasonable efforts to address your concerns.
6.2 Service Limitations
Our services do not include:
- Cleaning of biohazardous materials
- Mold remediation or asbestos removal
- Pest control or extermination
- Repairs or maintenance work
- Moving heavy furniture or appliances
- Cleaning of items or areas deemed unsafe by our staff
6.3 Re-cleaning Policy
If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our cleaning service, please notify us within 24 hours. We will return to re-clean the affected areas at no additional charge, provided the issue is reported within this timeframe.
7. Liability and Insurance
7.1 Insurance Coverage
DHC Cleaning Services maintains general liability insurance and workers' compensation insurance for our employees.
7.2 Damage Claims
In the unlikely event that damage occurs during our service, you must report it to us within 24 hours. We will investigate all claims and, if we determine the damage was caused by our negligence, we will repair or replace the item or reimburse you for its fair market value, up to the limits of our insurance coverage.
7.3 Limitation of Liability
Our liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage or wear and tear
- Damage to items not properly secured or disclosed
- Consequential or indirect damages
- Loss of items not reported within 24 hours
- Damage caused by conditions beyond our control
7.4 Client Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DHC Cleaning Services from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your failure to disclose hazardous conditions or your breach of these Terms.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of DHC Cleaning Services and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our services, you consent to our privacy practices as described in the Privacy Policy.
10. Termination of Services
10.1 Client Termination
For recurring services, you may terminate the service agreement at any time by providing written notice. You are responsible for payment of all services rendered up to the termination date.
10.2 Company Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or refuse service to any client at our discretion, including but not limited to cases of:
- Non-payment or late payment
- Unsafe working conditions
- Abusive or inappropriate behavior toward our staff
- Violation of these Terms of Service
- Fraudulent activity
11. Independent Contractor Relationship
DHC Cleaning Services operates as an independent contractor. Nothing in these Terms creates an employment, partnership, or agency relationship between you and DHC Cleaning Services or our staff.
12. Dispute Resolution
12.1 Informal Resolution
In the event of any dispute, we encourage you to contact us first to seek an informal resolution.
12.2 Arbitration
Any disputes that cannot be resolved informally shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, conducted in Pennsylvania.
12.3 Class Action Waiver
You agree that any arbitration or legal proceeding shall be conducted on an individual basis and not as a class action or collective action.
13. Governing Law
These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
15. Force Majeure
DHC Cleaning Services shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, labor disputes, or utility failures.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms of Service, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and DHC Cleaning Services regarding the use of our services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
17. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
